The microLINKS Speaker's Corner on Savings will host an online discussion titled The Forgotten Half of Financial Interventions?. The three day event will discuss the challenges and opportunities for delivering savings options to low income populations. Hosted by Madhurantika Moulick of MicroSave, this Speaker’s Corner aims to bring into focus the various issues related to savings by looking at the demand and supply side of savings, with special attention for savings options in hard to reach areas.
Each day, participants are invited to share their perspectives and experiences on following topics:
- Day 1 (July 8) – Demand for Savings Needs of Low Income People
- Day 2 (July 9) – The Suppliers’ Perspective on Savings
- Day 3 (July 10) – Savings Options in Difficult Areas
