How has SEEP contributed to the development of small and medium enterprises in 2004?
This presentation has been designed for the annual general meeting of SEEP. It highlights the various services provided by SEEP and their contributions to the development of small and medium enterprises (SMEs). The presentation:
- Highlights the 3 main services offered by SEEP – Institutional Development Services (IDS), Network Development services (NDS) and Practitioner Learning Program (PLP).
- Identifies the goal of IDS, the various services provided by IDS and the activities that its working group has undertaken to provide each of these services.
- Defines the goal of NDS and outlines the NDS program methodology, and also the various areas of operation of NCAT – the signature product of NDS.
- Focuses on the different network institutional strengthening services provided by NDS and all the other activities carried out by NDS in 2004.
- Explains the goal of PLP, its methodology and the 3 phases in its learning pyramid.
- Emphasizes the collaboration between participants as being the crux of PLP and discusses the global outreach and activities carried out by PLP.
The presentation concludes by stating that SEEP has taken the lead in implementing pro-client principles such as transparency, a pro-active stance for consumer orientation and protection, appropriate pricing, protection from unethical practices, etc.
